Spring Cleaning? Winnipeg Based Clothing Donation Organizations

As the air starts to feel lighter and the days get brighter, there is no better time to breathe some fresh life into your home by doing the age-old practice of Spring Cleaning. The best place to start? Your closet. Most of us have many items in our closet that are in perfectly good condition but we just do not wear them anymore. Whether they do not fit you, your style has changed or it is just an item you do not gravitate towards, we all have many of these items collecting dust in our closets.

This year after you go through your closet, you might consider donating your items to someone in need. Winnipeg has some amazing organizations who are trying to help people in need and clothing is one of the big items they are in search of.

We have highlighted a few of the organizations in Winnipeg that you can donate to!

The Up Shoppe at North End Women’s Centre

The Up Shoppe is a new and gently used clothing and accessories thrift store that re-sells the items for a very reasonable price. All of the proceeds from the sales go directly into the North End Women’s centre programs and services that support women and gender-diverse people in the community.
